This section of Long Island is minutes from JFK Airport and Atlantic beach is a very affluent beachfront community. The mayor of Atlantic Beach sought out boulderbrook and scheduled a visit for us to come up in July 2009 to take a look at the Island and to see if the location would be suitable for an art festival. The mayor is a big fan of art festivals and attends Coconut Grove and our Fort Lauderdale Museum National Art Festival.

 The location is an excellent drive by high-visibility location and each weekend there are thousands of people walking the boardwalk and spending times at the dozen beach clubs. We anticipate a show with a maximum of 100 artists and after visiting the island for a few days we are convinced that we can draw enough patrons to support a show of this size. Applications will be available in April 17 for this show and our Boston and Connecticut shows which will take place the weekends following this event. A nice line-up of shows for you to do three weeks in a row.
